What’s your store’s UCP Score?
A number from 0 to 100 for how well your store’s UCP profile follows the spec and what it lets a UCP agent do, with the fixes that raise it.
Your UCP Score and how it is made, each fix that raises it with copy-ready code and the points it’s worth, every check we ran, and the spec rules the score doesn’t count yet. Only a store whose UCP profile we could read gets a score.
The profile is checked against the release it declares. Capabilities are scored for Retail; Stays and Food are scored once their specs are in a release.
- A 91%
- B 6%
- C under 1%
- D 2%
Pick a grade above to see what it means. Only stores whose UCP profile we could read get a score. See the leaderboard.
A valid profile on a dated release, services that answered our check, checkout and payment handlers declared, and most of the five files outside UCP.
Staying therePoints left here usually go on keys or a missing file outside UCP. Check again after any change to your profile.
Close. An invalid profile can’t reach A: validity counts three times in Conformance, so an invalid profile tops out at 80.
To move upPublish keys, add the missing files outside UCP, and make every declared service answer.
Readable, but thin or flawed: few capabilities, no checkout or payment handler, warnings, or a profile that fails validation.
To move upDeclare checkout and a payment handler, clear the warnings, and fix anything the validator lists.
A profile we could read, missing much of what the three areas count. Often it fails validation.
To move upFix what the validator lists first: validity is the largest single part of the score.
A profile we could read, with little in it an agent can use.
To move upStart from a valid profile. The UCP Validator shows what is missing.
- Spec rules the score doesn’t count yet
- A MUST or SHOULD the profile breaks shows as a finding with its spec level, but doesn’t move the number.
- Identity in DNS
- DNSSEC, DANE and agent records. Emerging standards outside UCP, shown on the score page.
- Files for agents
- agents.md and other discovery files, with the store platform’s defaults marked.
- What an agent actually managed
- The score reads the profile and what answered our check. How far an agent gets shows only when an agent tries.
