Benji Fisher founded UCP Checker in early 2026 to track the adoption of the Universal Commerce Protocol and the broader agentic commerce ecosystem. He runs the monthly State of Agentic Commerce reports, builds the validation and benchmark tooling at ucpchecker.com, and operates UCP Playground — the agent shopping simulator used to test storefronts against frontier LLMs.
His work is regularly cited as a primary source by ecommerce trade publications across DACH, the US, and APAC, and used by enterprise retail, payments, and commerce platform teams to evaluate agent-readiness. Before UCP Checker, Benji built and shipped commerce infrastructure across multiple e-commerce platforms.
